The Cliveland Street project in Birmingham involved the redevelopment of a brownfield site into a 220- unit student accommodation scheme comprising two buildings, including a 14-storey tower.
Through detailed townscape and visual assessment, undertaken by Martina, the development was carefully designed to create an appropriate transition between Birmingham’s city centre skyline and the lower-lying suburban areas. The assessment work was instrumental in shaping both the building heights and architectural detailing to ensure seamless integration with the local context.
